Hi, there. Yes, this is me with long, bleached hair. I never seem to have a photo of me at my current hair style, color, and/or weight. Nonetheless, I hope that you will enjoy what I have managed to put together at this web site. I have posted the most recent book list with recommended titles and a couple of the past lists as well. Additionally, I have created pages here with some of the basic information from the seminar you attended.
Let me know what else you might want to see posted on a page. Thanks for coming to one of my presentations. I hope you found it useful.

I enjoyed your presentation in Pasadena ISD last Saturday. I had that "AHA!" moment when I read your chapter in Adolescent Literacy since the chapter was a condensed version of your workshop! I quickly ran out to add some of the books you booktalked to my order list. Can't wait to get them into the hands of my readers!

I enjoyed your presentation in Mendota, IL. Thanks most for getting the three literature teachers who came with me eager to read books and introduce some new books to their students. They were surprised that we have many of the books you discussed in our library.
